This Privacy Policy describes how GapX ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit gapx.app or purchase the GapX indicator.
1. What we collect
At checkout:
- Name and email address — for receipts and product delivery
- TradingView username — required to grant access to the invite-only script
- Payment information — processed by Whop (and their payment partners); we never see or store full card numbers
- Billing country — for tax compliance
While using the site:
- Anonymous analytics — pages viewed, referrer, approximate region. No personal identifiers, no tracking pixels across other sites.
The GapX indicator itself collects no data. It runs entirely inside your TradingView account and does not phone home.
2. How we use it
- To deliver the indicator to your TradingView account
- To send purchase receipts and product-update emails
- To provide support when you contact us
- To understand which pages are useful and improve them
We do not sell your data. We do not send marketing emails to non-customers. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
3. Third-party processors
- Whop — payment processing and access management. See Whop's privacy policy.
- TradingView — the platform where the indicator runs. We grant access via your TradingView username only.
- Email provider — for transactional emails (receipts, support).
4. Cookies
We use minimal cookies, limited to:
- Functional cookies required to keep the site working
- Anonymous analytics (aggregated, no personal identifiers)
No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Data retention
Purchase records are retained as long as required by tax law (typically 7 years). Support emails are retained for up to 2 years. You can request deletion of your account data at any time.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive a portable copy of your data

7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS across the site and encrypted-at-rest storage with our processors. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data carefully.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or on the website at least 14 days before taking effect.
